Gojira – Vacuity video

Gojira is one of those metal bands that manage to hook you with every song they put out. Their video for the song Vacuity off the album The Way of All Flesh is one of many fine examples of the high level of quality they put into everything they do. Their guitarist, Joseph Duplantier, explains the video as “…The song is about the Buddhist meaning of the world which is emptiness not nothingness, the ultimate presence. It was very hard to picture that concept in a video so we told the story of a girl carrying her own casket as the whole album is about facing your death and your pain. It seemed fitting.” Check it out!
